Thanks to you, The Ireland Funds is there

There is no doubt that the effects of COVID-19 are continuing to be felt both here and at home. However, The Ireland Funds Australia remain committed to supporting projects of impact across the island of Ireland and in Australia.

With your help, in our June 2021 Grant Round, we were able to support 13 projects with grants totalling just under $362,000. These grants are a direct injection to those that need it most, across our focus areas of education, peace, culture and community development.

Below is a snapshot of these impactful projects:

Thanks to you, we have done so much, but there is still so much more to do.

The Ireland Funds has never wavered in its commitment and core mission:  to deliver private philanthropic support to worthy causes that promote peace and reconciliation, arts and culture, education and community development. We don’t expect donors to support us over others but rather consider including us in their portfolio of giving. All organisations are committed to their missions and the people we support are relying on us to continue to fight for them and support them, particularly in these extremely difficult times. So it would be remiss of me not to ask anyone that can, at this time, to consider joining or continuing one of our Giving Programmes or to make a one-off donationall of which is tax-deductible.

Major Event Update

Despite the continued uncertainty we are rallying to host in-person events once more in 2021, namely our Sydney Gala Dinner on 23 October and our Melbourne Dinner on 12 November (postponed from 3 September)…COVID permitting of course…we are watching this day by day. We appreciate the situation everyone is facing and understand that so many have been affected, and we want to continue to support those in need during these times.

Please continue to stay healthy and well and look after yourselves and your loved ones in these trying times.

Very best wishes
